William Samuels, Esq. is an IP specialist with expertise in trademark, copyright, and other IP matters, including branding, entertainment, fashion, food and beverage, software protection, licensing, contracts, customs issues, global IP protection strategies, and domain name and Internet issues.

He is currently a partner at Warshaw Burstein, LLP. Prior, he worked as an intellectual property partner for Scarinci Hollenbeck, Attorneys at Law and chaired the firm's Copyright and Trademark Law Group. He also founded and grew an intellectual property boutique, W.R. Samuels Law where he provided trademark, copyright and patent counseling and audit services, IP registrations, enforcement, litigation, IP licensing and ownership agreements, services agreements, non-disclosure agreements, technology policy development, Internet and media law, start-up development and IP commercialization. As a former associate at LaRaviere, Grubman, and Payne, William concentrated on domestic and international trademark portfolio management, copyright, trade secrets, licensing, and other IP-related matters. He worked on a variety of other issues, including Internet law, domain name disputes (UDRP), unfair competition, counterfeiting, trade dress, customs enforcement, and IP litigation.
