Eric’s legal practice includes intellectual property rights related to patents, trademarks, copyrights, and other intellectual property matters. His practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patents in the computer, electrical, and mechanical sciences, including technologies such as cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), computer networks, web services, encryption, data structures, Internet commerce and many other technologies. Prior to becoming a patent attorney, Eric spent several years working as a systems analyst programmer where he worked with object oriented programming languages, database systems, multi-tiered systems, and web based applications. As a self-described "computer nerd," Eric is generally interfacing with his computer, but when he unplugs he can often be found skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking Utah’s backcountry.
