(“Trusli,” or “us”, “our” or “we”) is committed to protecting and respecting each Consultant User, Client, and Website visitor’s privacy. Our online Privacy Policy is designed to describe our privacy practices and principles in a format that is easy to read and understand. 

Trusli has established this Privacy Policy to let each Consultant User and User know the kinds of information we may gather from our Website and related third party sites, how and why we gather the information, what we use the information for, and when we might disclose the information. This Privacy Policy Agreement (“Privacy Policy”) describes Trusli’s privacy practices in relation to the use of our Website and Service. Each Consultant User and User agrees to the terms of this Privacy Policy and if you do not agree to these terms, your only recourse is to not use our Website.

Please be advised that the practices described in this Privacy Policy apply only to information gathered by Trusli and any personal information we may also receive about Consultant Users and Users from other online and offline sources, such as public databases, in connection with our Services. Each Consultant User and User agrees to have their information and any purchases they make processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable U.S. law.

Acceptance of This Privacy Policy

By using our Website and Services (whether or not you register or create any kind of account with us), each Consultant User and User accepts the terms set forth in this Privacy Policy as well as in the Terms of Use. Anyone that does not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, should not use the Website. The only recourse for Consultant Users and Users that do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use shall be to discontinue using our Services and visiting our Website. By using our Services, you consent to have your personal data transferred to and processed by us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

Through the use of our ​Website and any use of the Services each Consultant User and User agrees to the terms provided in our​ Privacy Policy regarding the use of their personal content, information, and data that we collect by their visiting our Website​ and using our Services. Each Consultant User and User that feels our Privacy Policy is unacceptable to them agree and represent that their only recourse is to discontinue use of the Website and discontinue use of the Services.

Communications From Trusli

To improve our products and services we may ask Consultant Users and Users to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although they do not have to respond to them. We may periodically send Consultant Users and Users information regarding the Services, updates, promotional emails, new products, special offers, or other information which we think Consultant Users and Users may find interesting. In such cases, we will use the email address provided to us.

Becoming a User 

You may visit our Website without creating an account, but you will not have full access to our Service. Visitors who wish to use the Service must create an account, thus becoming either a Consultant Users and Users. To create an account, you must either provide Trusli with personal contact information, such as name and email address, or sign in to Trusli via LinkedIn’s authentication service or other registration processes we may provide.

Information We May Collect

Each Consultant User and User Agrees that Trusli may collect the following information about them: Name, contact information, including email address, phone number, profile picture, educational background, work history, employment history, type of law practice, IP (Internet Protocol) address, the information supplied during the processing of registering with us, data usage trends, data showing the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, browser information, demographic information, browsing preferences, browsing data, the type of device being used, Website usage information, information regarding any URLs used with the Services, data regarding the use of our Services, other information relevant to surveys and/or offers, and any other information we are legally allowed to collect. We require this information to provide Consultant Users and Users with better Services. ​

International data transfer

Information that we collect may be stored and processed in and transferred between any of the countries in which we operate, or may not operate, in order to enable us to use the information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. By using our Service, you agree that we can store, process, and transfer your information in this manner and hold us harmless from any damages related to such use, transmission, storage, and processing.

Website Analytics

We use multiple web analytics tools provided by service partners such as Google Analytics to collect information about how you interact with our Website or mobile applications, including what pages you visit, what site you visited prior to visiting our Website, how much time you spend on each page, what operating system and web browser you use and network and IP information. We use the information provided by these tools to improve our Services. These tools place persistent cookies in your browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit our Website. Each cookie cannot be used by anyone other than the service provider (example: Google for Google Analytics). The information collected from the cookie may be transmitted to and stored by these service partners on servers in a country other than the country in which you reside. Trusli uses Google Analytics to help improve the experience of our Consultant Users, Clients, and Website visitors. Google Analytics uses both session-based and permanent cookies to collect information about how our Website performs and how our Consultant Users, Clients, and Website visitors use our Website and Service. The Google Analytics tool helps us evaluate and monitor Consultant Users’ and Users’ use of our Website, compile statistical reports on activity on the Service, and improve our Content. Google Analytics may collect more information than Trusli collects and you agree to our use of Google Analytics. Google Analytics stores the information these cookies generate.

Trusli will not, nor will we seek to allow any third party, other than our staff or contracted third party independent contractors, to use the Google Analytics tool to (i) track our Consultant Users and Users, (ii) collect any personal information of our Consultant Users and Users, other than IP address, or (iii) correlate a Consultant Users and Users IP address with his or her identity. Google Analytics provides further information about Google’s own privacy practices and allows the ability to opt out of Google Analytics tracking. You may disable your browser or device’s ability to accept cookies, but if you do, you may not be able to use Trusli’s Services.

Use of Cookies

Each Consultant User and User agrees that Trusli may use the information we gather as follows: In order to process their purchase of Services, we must share certain personal information every time a purchase is made for our Services. Such information may include your e-mail address, physical address, phone number, and credit card information. Our service representatives may use your telephone number or e-mail address to notify you of the status of your purchase as necessary and appropriate. We may share your information with vendors, business clients, and other third-party providers who are performing services for us. We may also use your information for internal record keeping and data analysis. For our statistical purposes, we gather details of your visits to our Website and the information that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, browser usage, page visits, weblogs, and other communication data. When you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence. We also use Consultant Users’ and Users’ information to ensure that Content from our Website is presented in the most effective manner for computers or mobile devices. 

From time to time, personal financial information (including credit card information) may be transmitted to facilitate transactions with Trusli between Consultant Users and Users who are purchasing our Services. We will not share such personal financial information with third parties other than those third parties such as banks, processing gateways, and merchant processors required to process a purchase, and you understand that Trusli cannot control how the banks, processing gateways, or merchant processors will use such personal financial information. Therefore, you hereby consent to such sharing of personal financial information. You also agree to assume the risk and agree that it is your responsibility to properly handle, secure, not store and destroy such personal financial information as may be necessary to protect it from misuse. Trusli shall not be liable to Consultant Users and Users or any third party for misuse of such Content or personal financial information.

We may disclose the information we collect from you to an affiliate or other third party in the event of any merger, sale, joint venture, assignment, reorganization, liquidation, transfer, or other disposition of all or any portion of our business, assets, or stock.

We may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our Website. These third-party advertising companies may use advertising technologies such as cookies, web beacons, and other similar advertising technologies. These companies may use aggregated information about your visits to our Website and third-party sites in order to provide advertisements and promotions about our products and Services that we believe you may find of interest.

We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our Website Policies and Terms of Use, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety. Trusli makes use of the industry standard OAuth authentication protocol. OAuth is a simple, secure process that allows you to grant Trusli access to your accounts on third party networks without sharing the passwords to those accounts. Using OAuth, the data you choose to share is securely transferred without revealing your login information. OAuth also allows you to verify that an application acting on your behalf is doing so only with the permissions you have granted that particular application. Most social networks, such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Google, allow applications to access user accounts using the OAuth process. OAuth functions using authentication tokens, which will expire after a period of time and may be revoked. You agree and accept that our use of OAuth is no guarantee that the transmission of information via OAuth is completely secure and you accept such risks. Therefore, we cannot guarantee OAuth is 100% security and you accept such risks and agree to hold us harmless from any such claims related to our use of OAuth.

We also use ChatBot, which is owned by LiveChat, Inc., for online chat to help provide support and assistance to our users. ChatBot has its own Terms and Conditions (https://www.chatbot.com/legal/terms-and-conditions/) that can be found here and their own privacy policy that can be found here (https://www.chatbot.com/legal/privacy-policy/), and you agree to be bound by those as well.

What if We Merge, or are Bought or Acquired by Another Company? 

Trusli may share your personal information if we are involved in a merger, sale, or acquisition. If any such change of ownership happens, we will seek to continue to ensure the confidentiality of your personal information. The purchaser will have to honor any promises we have made in this Privacy Policy or in our Terms of Use, but they may change either of them at any time.

Advertising; Third-party tracking, re-targeting, or analysis 

Trusli may from time to time share your personal and/or non-personal Information with third parties or permit third-party tracking, re-targeting, or data analysis across our Website or Service for their or our promotional purposes (e.g., to serve you more relevant advertisements or promotional offers). Consultant Users and Users may post certain information (which includes text, images, sound files, documents, or any other form of information or communication without limit) on our Website or by speaking with a Trusli support person. This information may include, among other things, a description of their business and legal question(s). This posted information will be viewed by those Consultant Users who have access to view posted legal inquiries and may be viewed by Trusli support staff to ensure quality control and provide technical support. While we try to ensure that each legal inquiry posted privately will only be visible to one Consultant User and one User, as well as to Trusli support staff, we cannot guarantee such confidentiality or that the legal inquiry will not be seen by others. Therefore, no legal inquiry is confidential and no attorney-client privilege is formed by the use of our Website and our Services. Please do not share sensitive or confidential information that you want to be protected by attorney-client privilege, via the Service.

You consent and agree that Trusli may share your personal information, including displaying the information you have chosen to share in your post, which will allow us to make an introduction to you of one or more Consultant Users, concerning your need for legal services.

Online eCommerce Platform 

We may use an online e-commerce platform that allows us to provide the Services to you. Your information, including personal information, may be transmitted through and stored on third-party servers. By using the Service, you consent to our collection, disclosure, storage, and use of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service.

Social Media, Posts, Texts, Forums, and Profiles 

You agree that Trusli may make available through the Website, third party sites, or the Services certain forms of media either now existing or to be created in the future (for example, social media, message boards, chat functionality, videos, pictures, images, profile pages, text messaging and blogs) to which you may be able to post Content. Please note that any Content you provide on these various forms of media may become public, and may be available to visitors to the Website, third party sites, and to the general public, including without limitation the ratings and reviews that accompany any pages on our Website and third party sites. YOU AGREE THAT TRUSLI SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS CAUSED AS A RESULT OF THE USE BY Trusli OR ANY UNAUTHORIZED PERSON OR ENTITY OF ANY CONTENT THAT USERS DISCLOSE THROUGH THE WEBSITE, THIRD PARTY SITES, OR THE USE OF THE SERVICES. 

California Online Privacy Protection Act Compliance 

As part of the California Online Privacy Protection Act, all Users of our Website may make any changes to their information at any time by logging into their account and changing their information. We will not distribute their personal information to outside parties without their consent.

No information about children 

Trusli does not knowingly collect information from, or direct any of our content specifically to, children or teenagers under the age of 18. If we learn or have reason to suspect that a User of our Service is under the age of 18, we will promptly delete any personal information in that User's account.

Children Online Privacy

Anyone under 13 years of age should not access this Website and should not use our Services. Our Website and Services are not intended for children under 13, and we will not knowingly collect any information from any children under the age of 13. We do not store your credit card information. The credit card information and actual processing does not take place on and is not stored on our servers. The transaction is processed on the servers of the particular credit card processor we use to process the transaction. 

Security Not Guaranteed

Trusli is committed to ensuring that personal information is secure. We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect each Consultant User’s and User’s data and personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction; maintain data accuracy; and help ensure the appropriate use of such data and personal information. Trusli uses reasonable organizational, technical, and administrative measures to protect the personal information of Consultant Users and Users under our control. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Consultant User and User personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

All non-financial information and Content provided to us is stored on our secure servers. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have taken all reasonable steps and put in place suitable safeguards to secure the information we collect from Consultant Users and Users online. 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. No method of transmission, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Although we will do our best to protect each Consultant User’s and User’s personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of their data transmitted to our Website, and you agree and accept that any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received personal information, we will use the necessary procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorized access. We will take all reasonable steps necessary to ensure that personal information and data is treated securely and in accordance with this P​rivacy P​olicy. 

In addition, while we take measures reasonably necessary to ensure that our third party service providers, such as our payment processing and data tracking, re-targeting or data analysis services, keep your information secure, these organizations' practices are ultimately beyond our control. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks. Please do not email or text us credit card information and/or other sensitive information. Therefore, we cannot guarantee our Website is 100% secure and you accept such risks and agree to hold us harmless from any such claims related to the use of our Website or our Services.

An IP (Internet Protocol) Address is automatically assigned to the computer that someone is using by their Internet Service Provider (ISP) and is identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever someone visits our Website. This also allows us to identify the time(s) of visit(s) and the page(s) of our Website that have been visited. You may access, update, change, or delete your profile information in our system by editing your Consultant User or User profile or contacting info@trusli.com. Trusli will retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you Services. If you wish to cancel your account, delete your personal information, or request that we no longer use your personal information to provide you Services, please contact info@trusli.com We will retain and use your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, but barring legal requirements, we will use reasonable efforts to delete your full profile within 30 days.
